TAIZE AT CONTEMPLATIVE OUTREACH

We now have a small "in house" Taize ensemble at the Center for Contemplative Living. This ensemble supports the events sponsored by Contemplative Outreach such as the Annual Conference and the Fall Mini-Retreat as well as responding to other requests from the community. Taize uses instrumentalists as well as vocalists. Instrumentalists can include, but are not limited to, cello, flute, violin, trumpet, clarinet, oboe or English horn, to name a few. Singers are needed for all voice parts, especially bass and tenor, and there would be solo opportunities for those wishing to cantor. The group meets, at the Center, on the first Monday of every month, at 7:00 p.m. and begins with Centering Prayer. The Contempative Outreach Taize Ensemble will present an afternoon of Scripture, Centering Prayer, and Taize music on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at the Center for Contemplative Living, 3650 Yates Street, Denver, CO 80212.
