| | The monastic method of Lectio Divina or "Praying with Scripture" teaches us to have a friendlier attitude toward Scripture and it's role in forming us as Christian contemplatives. Sometimes when we pray we struggle with what to say to God. We learn in Centering Prayer that we don't have to say anything; however, there are times when our prayer life can be deepened by having this conversation with God, where God is suggesting the topic and we are listening with the "ear of our heart."
