DEEPENING CONTEMPLATION |

| Too often we get stuck in Centering Prayer, discouraged by thoughts, struggling to find God, lost in our own sense of effort. How do we respond to these and other obstacles to more easily receive the grace and giftedness that God is continually offering us in prayer and in life? How do we unify our practice with God's grace? |
| This class is for those who already know Centering Prayer and want to explore how contemplation deepens in them, as the journey continues after its beginnings. The morning will include two periods of Centering Prayer, contemplative teaching, dialogue, small group discussion and guided instruction in practice. |
| David Frenette has taught Centering Prayer for 25 years, including as a trainer in Contemplative Outreach for long-time contemplative practitions. He co-founded and lived at a Centering Prayer retreat facility for 10 years and is now on the staff at the Center for Contemplative Living in Denver.
