	Too often we get stuck in Centering Prayer, discouraged by thoughts, struggling to find God, lost in our own sense of effort. How do we respond to these and other obstacles to more easily receive the grace and giftedness that God is continually offering us in prayer and in life? How do we unify our practice with God's grace.
	This class is for those who already know Centering Prayer and want to explore how contemplation deepens in them, as the journey continues after its beginnings through purification, illumination and union with Christ. Each evening will include Centering Prayer, contemplative teaching, dialogue, small group discussion and guided instruction in practice. Part I is a prerequisite for Part II.
