	Too often we get stuck in Centering Prayer, discouraged by thoughts, struggling to find God, lost in our own sense of effort. How do we respond to these and other obstacles to more easily receive the grace and giftedness that God is continually offering us in prayer and in life?
	In the class, each evening we will discuss an essential "contemplative attitude" that allows Centering Prayer to deepen into contemplative prayer. An established practice of Centering Prayer is a requirement for these classes. Part II can be taken without Part I.
