ADVENT WEEKEND INTENSIVE RETREAT

Taking time out for a contemplative retreat is a great way of renewing mind, body, and spirit while deepening your Centering Prayer practice. If the circumstances of your life preclude participation in the 10-day retreat offerings at Snowmass, our weekend intensive retreat slated for December 4-6,2009 at the Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat House may present an ideal opportunity to experience the grace of silence in the beauty of God’s creation.

The Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat House is located in the colorful foothills and offers panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. The beautiful grounds offer the perfect setting for solitude, reflection, and prayer. There are plentiful trails for walking, hiking and enjoying nature.

A weekend intensive retreat includes periods of Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, and time for solitude. Retreats are open to those who have incorporated a Centering Prayer practice into their daily lives for at least six months.
